I am delighted to welcome you at the redesigned website of MCA-Armenia Program. Through the website you will be able to learn how this program funded by the U.S. government's Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) contributes to the rehabilitation of Armenia's irrigation infrastructure and to increased profitability of farmers. As the CEO of MCA-Armenia SNCO I would like to emphasize the following:

 

- The Program is the biggest investment in Armenia's irrigated agriculture thanks to the U.S. Government's grant;

- Key irrigation infrastructure including main canals, gravity systems, pumping stations, tertiary canals and Ararat Valley Drainage system will be rehabilitated under the Program;

- 45,000 farmers will receive training; 220 demonstration sites will be established, and 8.5 million USD will be provided in agricultural loans;

- 44 Water User Associations (WUAs) and 220 processing enterprises will receive technical assistance;

- More than 400,000 rural residents in 350 communities of Armenia are benefiting from the MCA-Armenia Program.
