MCA-Armenia Program Stakeholders' Committee (SC) ensures civil society participation in all the stages of Program implementation to guarantee its transparent and unbiased implementation. In every Program year elections for the 15 SC members are held. Representatives of all those not governmental not-for-profit organizations who have experience related to Program goals and aspects and are involved in active public life are invited to participate at the elections.
The SC is a consultative body and its activities cover different aspects of Program implementation: general Programmatic issues, public monitoring, work with the stakeholder communities, farmers, etc. The other important role of the SC is membership and participation at the Governing Council meetings. Members from the SC are delegated to the GC as full members of the GC composed of 12 members. The Environmental Observer to the GC is also delegated by the SC. MCA-Armenia highly appreciates the SC members' participation at the Program activities being implemented in the communities through which the SC members can voice the opinions and concerns of the stakeholders.
