Journalistic skills and knowledge of SC member Sasun Hambardzumyan are evident during everyday activities of Stakeholders' Committee, in particular, in cooperation with the representatives of mass media and civil society.

The experience of S. Hambardzumyan is mainly related to television journalism, he has cooperated with Armenia, ArmNews and Kentron TVs. Presently he is also lecturing. He has YSU Master's Degree in Armenian language and literature. Sasun is also an active public figure; he is very much interested in the problems of young generation. Since year 2000 he has participated in a number of trainings and workshops, he is a member of “Association of Civil Servants” NGO and “Armenian National Youth Council”.

The Association considers important the introduction and establishment of civil society institute, regulated by RA Law on Civil Services, implemented in the result of improvements in RA state management sphere. It is an important link in the process of democracy building in Armenia, formulation of civil society. In 2005 during the elections of local self-governance authorities and Referendum on Constitution, the Association had the mission of local observer in different marzes of the Republic of Armenia.

The Association emphasizes the importance and participates in the implementation of projects targeted at solution of social, educational, health problems of community population, providing professional expertise and other kind of assistance, stipulated by RA Law and By-Laws of the organization.

Within the frames of Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper the Association is participating in public participation, monitoring and public awareness activities. Up to present the Association has carried out a number of educational, analytic, informational, legal assistance and expertise works and cooperated with Department for International Development (DFID), SIDA, CESO, European Council, RA Ministry of Culture and Youth, The Association of Armenian Communities, RA Civil Services Council, RA President Committee on local self-governance issues, Armenian National Youth Council, RA Public Sector Reforms and a number of other self governance authorities, NGOs and international organizations.
